Waiting....

So its finally time for Rylan to arrive! My Dr considers me full term! I saw him Monday and I was congradulated on making it this far, and I graduated from a high risk folder (purple) to a normal people (manilla) folder for my files at the Dr's! He said Rylan is free to come! He guesses Rylan is about 5 pounds 13 ounces or so. I will be checked for dilation on Monday. I didnt know you had to request it. I will also be getting my Group B Strep results back. Hopefully they are negative like they were with Aaliyah. I am SOOO beyond ready for Rylan to get here. I recieved steroids for his lungs over 10 weeks ago! So I am sure he is ready.

I unfortunatelly found out that 9 times out of 10 a women who has taken progesterone shots to prolong her pregnancy goes over due! I hope that doesnt happen in my case! It would have been nice to know that tid bit in the beginning.

Aaliyah is growing like a weed as usual. She is doing and discovering something new every day! So to hold you over till we have some news on baby Rylan here are some of the many faces of Aaliyah!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We just celebrated our 2nd Halloween with our little peanut!

Last year Aaliyah dressed up as a pink puppy! Can you believe she couldnt crawl or walk or anything last yr? Now she is yelling RUN RUN RUN. As she runs to the next house for candy!

We started off with some pumpkin carving! Aaliyah wasnt so sure but she copied what we did.

I of course carved the Dora pumpkin, Matt took the easy raod and did the BOO pumpkin!
Matt had school for trick or treating, his 1st day and I didnt want him to miss it. So I took Aaliyah trick or treating with his mother, sister, brother, and nephew Landyn. Aaliyah ended up having a blast!

Even though she doesnt look to excited cooped up in her stroller! But it was hard for mommy to carry her and her baby brother ;)

I decided to get into the spirit a little also!!
We decided on actual Halloween day to go for a visit to Aaliyah's god father Josh's and his fiance Jen. We spent a little bit of time playing with their doggies Milo and Zeke. Aaliyah loved to throw the ball for Zeke but got a little nervous about him jumping up on her.

Trick or treating didnt quite work out that day. Aaliyah ended up miserable, it was cold, and there were alot of hills and way to many doors you had to go up stairs to, which my body could not handle!
Last but not least we decided to paint my belly like a pumpkin! We couldnt leave baby Rylan out of the festivities!!

I think Aaliyah thought we were nuts!

We had such a fun filled Halloween season. We visted Yecks where we went on a hay ride, met some cute little animals and got pumpkins with Matts family. Then we went to Soergels where Aaliyah played in the play houses, met some more animals, and we got some yummy goodies to bring home and eat. We carved pumpkins, went trick or treating, visited friends and painted my belly like a pumpkin! We didnt get around to making our Halloween cookies. But we can only fit so much in a day!
We are continuting to prepare for Rylans arrival, which we are hoping is sooner rather than later. I am 35 weeks along, and at the point where I had healthy little Aaliyah. We are prepared for an early arrival with this little man, I had steroid shots for his lungs at 26 weeks. But I think he is going to be stubborn and make me wait it out!
I hope you had a wonderful Halloween with your families! Thanksgiving is just around the corner!! I hope to have my little turkey by then!
